The Germans are all bitching and complaining about this place. I don't quite understand why. I had a pizza and found it to be quite good. My two friends eating with me also enjoyed their dishes. The place is a bit generic and is like other have written similar to Vapiano with table service. I personally think the pizza here was better than the one I had last time I went to Vapiano. I like the clean interior of this location, service was cordial and did their job well. Yes, the place is a bit generic but you know this before you walk in the door. If you're expecting the feeling of a local, completely Italian place like Da Enzo, then go there. If you want a quick lunch or dinner consisting of pizza or pasta and are in the area, this is a good choice.

It was 4pm on a Wednesday, so few people there, and service was fine.  Decor is bright modern, and pleasant.   Asked the server to recommend a pizza, and got the one recommended, with goat cheese & asparagus.

I think there are some people who will enjoy this pizza.  The crust is more matzo than pizza crust.  The ingredients are more placed in a way to illustrate a desert landscape than for flavor.   There was an obnoxious sweetness to it, that killed everything else, probably from honey.  The texture is crackery/crumbly and just generally hopeless.   You slog through slice after slice hoping that things might improve.

In short, a godawful, pretentious-a**,  faux pizza - - though it gets points for how pretty it looked (and definitely NOT for how the flavors failed to integrate or satisfy).  People who don't enjoy pizza,  have never been to Naples (or New York, or Chicago), and who are more impressed by style than substance,  might enjoy it.
